SAY HELLO TO YOUR NEW DOG TRAINER

Dog Trainer Eddie Guadalupe got his first dog when he was 6 years old. Since then, he has trained every dog he’s owned, plus the dogs of his friends and family.

Eddie Guadalupe NJ Dog TrainerIn 2009, Eddie was introduced to Michael Ellis, an internationally renowned dog trainer. He began consuming all of Ellis’s content and training videos and practicing the training techniques he learned with every dog he met.

Three years later, Eddie’s mother was diagnosed with cancer and passed away 6 months later. During their last few months together, Eddie’s conversations with his mother inspired him to pursue his dreams. He knew the best way he could honor his mother was by spending his time doing something he was deeply passionate about.

Eddie’s mom gave him his own German Shepherds when he was just 6 years old. His mother had a German Shepherd named Blackie when she was just a girl and told him many stories about her dog.  Growing up, Eddie’s house was filled with German shepherds, Basset Hounds, Sheep dog, and poodles. Eddie’s passion for dogs has been passed down from his mom. He knew that he was meant to pursue his dream of attending Michael Ellis School for Dog Trainers.  Eddie attended M.E.S. in 2016 and started River Wolf K9 in Glassboro, New Jersey a year later.

FROM A CURRENT CLIENT…

I can’t say enough good things about Eddie. He is completely dedicated to helping my dog Pepper become a well-trained dog so that we can enjoy including her as part of our family wherever we go. I feel incredibly lucky that we found Eddie. Pepper is the luckiest of all to have such a generous teacher to get her started on the right foot!

DOG Training PHILOSOPHY

Dog training is more than just solving dog behavior problems or basic household behavior management. Our focus is to help develop a mutual relationship of love and respect between dogs and their owners by empowering and educating owners to train their dogs with confidence.

COMMUNICATION

Can you and your dog clearly communicate through physical and verbal cues?

ENGAGEMENT

Is your dog paying attention and choosing to focus on you and not all the distractions?

MOTIVATION

Does your dog have an incentive in what you want to train them to do?

Using these pillars, you’ll be equipped to understand & use a variety of training concepts and techniques. This way, you’ll be empowered to work with your dog through any challenges that may arise – even after our time together ends.

With training from River Wolf K9, you’ll be able to experience life WITH your dog instead of feeling forced to constantly leave your dog at home or board him. From vacations and family gatherings to parts and events, you’ll be able to bring your dog wherever your choose.
